Pinnacles
“Day 1: Love-filled hiking”
Although maybe you were a little tired, and maybe we could've used a little bit more water, you and I had a great time exploring the super unique hike at Pinnacles. Plus you got Starbucks AND Jamba Juice, so you really couldn't complain. I'm glad I'm slowly making you into a hiker, this was a great start to our break.
Truckee
“Days 2-4: Love-filled hiking, cooking, driving, and a whole lot of other things.”
Fi, I'm so glad that you were able to come to Tahoe and give us even more time together on this break. We were lucky to be able to spend the days together and explore the surrounding area (and the surrounding food).
Virginia City

The ocean was beautiful. The cliffs were beatiful. The bridge was beautiful. The weather was beautiful. The drive was beautiful. But above all that? You were beautiful.

“Love-filled redwood wandering, beach rock climbing, sunset admiring.”
I really love how much time we spent in the outdoors this week, in all different forms. Today we got them all: Walking beneath centuries-old redwoods, figuring out how to climb onto a rock after strolling along the beach, and hiking up to the most awe-inspiring sunset spot in the Bay. I'm so excited to keep finding different nature spots to enjoy.

I really can envision us living in this city sometime, there's so much to do, so many things to see, and so much food to eat. It's great! Also I'm glad I'm immersing you in the art of art (see what I did there?) I have you willingly going to galleries and museums! I'm culturing you!
